I’ve been talking about starting a blog for years, and I’ve finally decided to give it a go. This is my space where I can document bits and pieces of my life and share the things I love. I don’t want to be just another person you follow on the Internet, so I hope this allows you to get to know me a little better. I welcome feedback, so please let me know what you think — I’d love to hear from you. Thanks for reading and supporting me on this new adventure!

  1. I wish I knew how to ______.
Trust more — because the Type A in me needs everything in my life planned out a month in advance. Oh, and ski.
  2. Quote to live by?
  3. Early bird or night owl?
Neither, although, someday, I’d like to be an early bird.
  4. What is something that is considered a luxury but you don’t think you could live without?
    My eyelash extensions.
  5. Drink of choice?
    Amaretto sour.
  6. Favorite dinner spot in Saint Louis?
Dinner — Melting Pot (I know it’s not local, but it’s my absolute favorite date night place.)
Drinks — The Fountain on Locust for their signature ice cream martinis.
  7. A valuable lesson you’ve learned?
    Comparison kills happiness.
  8. Last thing you splurged on?
I bought myself a new suitcase.
  9. What do you have your eye on?
I’ve never been a slippers person, but my mom bought Kevin a pair last year for Christmas. After wearing his constantly, I’ve decided I want a pair of my own UGG slippers.
  10. Apps you use every day?
Instagram for keeping up with my favorite bloggers and Logic Daily for keeping my brain sharp.
  11. Favorite holiday?
Christmas, hands down. I love everything about the Christmas season.
  12. #1 vacation destination?
Anywhere in Europe — Norway, Italy, France. I want to see it all.

Early. One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone’s always late.
  14. Best relationship advice?
    Never go to bed angry.
  15. Favorite dessert?
I have the biggest sweet tooth, and it changes depending on my cravings. But I really like vegan chocolate coconut fudge ice cream from Clementine’s Naughty and Nice Creamery.
  16. Best advice when it comes to dealing with people?
Be kind — you never know what else they’re dealing with. That being said, it’s totally okay to distance yourself from toxic people.
  17. Favorite Starbucks drink?
In the fall — salted caramel mocha.
    Seasonal — s’mores frappuccino.
  18. What would you tell your 18-year-old self?
Don’t worry so much. You may not go where you’d planned, but you’ll go exactly where you need to be.
  19. What do you miss?
Going to my grandparents’ house for holidays. We sold the house a few years ago after my grandpa passed away. It just isn’t the same.
  20. Kindle or physical book?
Physical book, always. I have a Kindle from years ago, and unfortunately, it has just been sitting in my drawer.
  21. Best advice you’ve ever received?
Anything my mom has ever told me. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to appreciate it more even when it’s not what I want to hear.
  22. Nike or Adidas?
    Nike.
  23. Coolest celebrity moment?
I met Tyler Hilton (Chris Keller from One Tree Hill) after he performed at STL Uncorked. Dream moment because OTH is my favorite show.
  24. What is something you will never do again?
    Use a porta potty.
  25. Weird things about me:
I don’t know how to swim. And I love theme parks like Disney World, but I never ride the roller coasters.
